My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Juno! I'm a sweet, loving dog and I am so happy to be here in Minnesota with a foster family! There are a lot of people here that like to pet me and give me attention, I can't get enough of it! I have yet to meet a dog or human that I don't like! My foster family can't believe how friendly I am.

I am a beautiful dog with sweet, loving eyes! I get a lot of attention because of my unique markings. My foster family says they've never seen a dog that looks like me and they love that! When you meet me up close, you'll see I have the softest, most friendly brown eyes.

I am housetrained, I do all my business outside! My foster home has a fenced in yard which is great but good news is I also walk well on a leash, so I'd be great in a home with or without a fence! I do pull every once in a while, and I am on the lookout for things to chase but I'm easily redirected. I like to go for walks and be outside!

I am working on kennel training. I go in nicely during the day while my foster family is gone but I am not totally comfortable yet being on my own. At night it takes a few minutes to settle in but then I sleep quietly in my kennel all night! I don't know any tricks yet but I'm a good listener so my foster mom thinks I will learn quickly.

I am a great dog! I have a lot of love to give and I cannot wait to find my forever family! Could that be you? Please apply, I can't wait to meet you!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

More about this rescue

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”

Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
