My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ponds, a strong and independent girl who had to grow up fast, raising five kittens all on her own. After her days of being a supermom, Ponds is ready for some well-deserved pampering! While she loves affection, she prefers it on her terms—once she’s comfortable, she’ll gladly curl up next to you on the couch for some cozy relaxation.

Ponds has decided she’s done with the busy mom life and wants to be the queen of her own castle, where she can enjoy all the attention and love. If you're looking for a loyal, independent companion who deserves to be pampered, Ponds is ready to be your one and only! If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: acskc.org/adoption/adoption-application

Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply!
