Welcome Luna Star (aka Luney)! Luna is full of SPUNK! We have two speeds, running and sleeping. Luna would prefer to be always touching you. Should you sit down, your lap is the only place she wants to be. Luna does well in her kennel, going potty outside and has barked one time in a week. She is working on her manners (foster mom would prefer she didn't get up on the dining room table or steal stuffed pumpkins meant for decoration) but she wants to please her people and is learning quickly. Luna does great with kids and will be tested with dogs and cats soon. She does have a desire to chase, so Luna's new family will need to commit to having her on a leash when outside. We see the vet this week to figure out what she needs to become the best Luna she can be!

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
