My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sherlick is the clever little detective of the literary litter! He's curious, loyal and ready to solve the puzzle of finding treats and toys in his forever home. Sherlick is the bravest pup in his litter and has natural curiosity about his surroundings. He's always on the case, looking for fun with a human buddy or a furry one. The only thing missing is his Watson - could that be you?

Keep in mind that adopting a puppy is a big responsibility and Sherlick will need a home to give him time and attention. Your new friend will need to continue his basic training, including potty and crate training. Our pups get a good start with their foster homes and are looking for adoptive homes who are excited about helping them grow.

The Literary litter puppies' adoption fee will be $325.
We don't know much about their breed, but believe they will be small to medium dogs when full grown.

If you have other dogs at home, we will offer meet and greets to approved applicants to ensure the dogs will get along. *Priority will be given to in-state (TN) adopters.

More about this rescue

We are a foster based animal rescue in the Nashville area.

Our mission is to work as a shelter diversion for animals who are facing homelessness, through no fault of their own. We provide vet care, a foster and adoption for animals belonging to owners who are homeless or living below the poverty level, where rehoming is their only option.

The majority of SOARescue animals come to us through our big sister organization SAFPAW (Southern Alliance for People and Animal Welfare).
If you would like to learn more about SAFPAW and their weekly spay/neuter transport, homeless outreach program and women's post recovery home, please visit their website at www.safpaw.org.

If SOARescue has the capacity to aid with other strays or owner surrenders, we will gladly do so. Our goal is to help relieve pressure on the over-burdened shelter system.
