My story

Sweet Lucy is 10 months old and is partially house broken, if not fully, to the best of my knowledge. She also knows a few commands (sit, paw, etc.) I acquired her from craigslist and after a few days realized that I'm not ready to adopt another dog. I lost my bernedoodle to cancer about 6 weeks ago and thought I could fill the void with a new companion. The original owner will not respond to my multiple messages and unfortunately said she "forgot" her paperwork when I picked her up. She seems to be well taken care of, groomed, and likely up to date on her shots as well. I just don't have the verification of this although I sent my address to the original owner requesting to receive the documentation. She is not chipped. She apparently came from a bernedoodle breeder in Columbus.
I am a dog lover and I don't want a large rehoming fee. I just want Lucy to find a good home to live her best life. I am 72 yrs old and now realize that I cannot take care of myself and a dog like a used to.
