Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Juniper Berry is a beautiful, gentle cat who would make a wonderful companion in a quieter home. She came to SCAT a bit shy and skeptical of people after living her first two years outside. Now that she`s experienced living the good life indoors, she`s regularly seeking out human attention. A meat tube and a bowl of wet food are the way to her heart. She also immediately mastered the essential housecat manners of using a litterbox and scratching post!
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Although she is actively approaching people to pet her, she still appreciates slow hands initially. Like many cats, she will hide when there are loud noises or sudden movements. She`s not a big fan of being picked up and held just yet, but she will likely cave with some time and patience.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
