Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Hello, my name is Darr-la! The whole bunch of us ( 11 in total) were dumped on a farm. The nice farm people contacted SCAT and SCAT saved our lives ( I guess that means we`ve each used up one of our nine lives). I`m the smallest of the bunch. I have 8 siblings ( some are half siblings).....I`m also the luckiest kittie in the world cause I have 2 mamas! Because I`m small for my age, I tend to be bullied a little bit by the bigger kitties. I try to hold my ground , but they play so hard. I`m not a rough and tumble kind of girl. My features and bone structure are very fine ( you can tell I`m a girl as soon as you see me). I`ll be an elegant svelte panther one day. Oh, how I love to play....and pounce....and jump....and climb! I`m such a playful little muffin. You`ll often find me catching a sunbeam. If there`s a ray of sunshine anywhere, you can be sure that I`ll find it. Auntie says that the pictures that she took of me don`t do me justice. Because I`m black, she says I don`t ` show up` very well. She placed me on a red pillow, a pink blanket and even a leopard throw....,,but I jumped off. She said that whoever looks at my pictures will have to take her word for it that I`m drop dead gorgeous and cute as a button. Dry food can be left out for me as I don`t eat it all at once. I am also very fond of pate wet food. I travel well in the cat carrier and my litter habits are impeccable. I`m also not much of a talker. I`m ready to go to my forever home. Im such a good girl ( albeit a tad shy)..... I`m hoping there`s someone out there who can appreciate what I have to give. Come meet me! Hugs & head bops, Dar

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
