My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala
Nala is a great little girl. She has a sister that is almost identical. Nala is a little darker grey strip than her sister Simba. Yes Simba is a girl. Nala and her sister Simba are very playful. I sometimes don't know how they have so much energy. The resident dog is having a great time with the kitties. She loves to play but is very loving and affectionate. Loves to be held and when she thinks she going to be picked up she starts to purr.
Nala would love to be adopted with her sister Simba but can also be a friend to your other pet. If you choose to keep these two together, I’m sure they will provide you with years and years of love and entertainment.
If you would like more information about Nala please go to our website at www.southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our online application.
Thanks.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
