My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Estelle is as sweet as can be - she's all cuddles, kisses, and love! Her favorite activities are racing across the house with her sister, wrestling with her much larger doggy foster sister, chilling in a dog bed and chewing on a toy, or trying to make friends with her foster kitty siblings.  She would be great in a home with other dogs or a dog savvy cat.

When Estelle meets someone new she doesn't see a stranger, only a potential friend. She's a brave girl and isn't bothered by loud noises or scary new objects.

She's treat/food motivated which will help with her training.  She already has mastered a few commands!  Like all puppies, she will nip and play bite so will not be a good choice for young children who are not used to puppy behavior.

Right now she has a pretty typical puppy schedule - potty, zooming around, potty, eat, potty, sleep, potty, repeat. After getting her exercise, she settles nicely in her puppy pen. She sleeps in her puppy pen and her adopter will need to work on crate training.  She is doing very well with potty training when she is on a regular schedule or watching/ listening for her cues!

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:  Astra and Estelle were part of a litter that was surrendered to a shelter when they were 6 weeks old. Best Friend Pet Adoption wanted to provide good homes for these sweet girls so admitted them into our rescue. We were told their Mom was a German Shepherd and if so, the Dad was probably a lab since the puppies look to be lab mixes.

Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed.  Applicants must live no further than one hour from Cary NC as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being finalized.  Any adopter must be able to come to the Cary area for future medical care until Estelle is spayed at around 6 months.  BFPA covers the cost of all medical care until the adoption is finalized.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ESTELLE? Please submit our dog adoption application which can be found at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC
