Here's what the humans have to say about me:
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT ***
Meet Sidney! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent.
Sidney has not met another dog who she doesn't instantly think is her best friend. She is described as being very dog friendly. She likes people too, but on occasion barks at people she doesn't know. She is motivated to learn new manners and tricks and has excelled at PACK. She still needs a bit of leash work, but she is better than she was before. Sidney tends to be higher energy in the mornings, and is improving on her self regulation of this energy.
When we cat tested Sidney with cats, she was very fixated on them and we were not able to break her focus. To keep all parties safe, Sidney needs to go to a home without cats.
Another thing Sidney enjoys is playing fetch with her ball. If you're lucky, she may even bring it back! If you're looking for a fetch partner, you would be lucky to meet Sidney! She will graduate towards the beginning of November. Apply to meet her today!
