My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Salem is a high energy dog with a need for focused attention that she cannot currently receive from our family. She's extremely loving, loyal and would make an excellent running companion. She plays well with other dogs but does not like sharing. The more room she has to explore independence, the better she adapts. We can provide full DNA testing showing her as primarily Golden Retriever, with a secondary emphasis as standard poodle. By some definitions, she may be a 'goldendoodle,' but her void-black coat and golden retriever grace stand out much more distinctly than the accepted definition of that breed. We are looking to rehome her because her energy and excitement is too much for our home with multiple small children. She has been on a Banfield (through PetSmart) wellness plan since she was adopted at 8wks old from a rescue in Denison, TX. Banfield also did her spay. Her Wisdom DNA panel revealed no genetic marker for any health concerns.
