Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Zoey was adopted from Judy's in 2018 and was sadly returned to us recently due to no fault of her own. We are still getting to know her, but so far the staff has said that she is a total sweetheart. She is loving, friendly, and was well-behaved for her intake exam and nail trim.
She is up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, spayed, and housebroken. Her previous owners also said that she does well with other dogs and knows quite a few commands. She was left to roam the house when her family was not home and did not show any destructive behaviors, but she has also been doing great in her kennel at the shelter.
Zoey is clearly used to a family life and would make an amazing dog for any household!
Her adoption fee is $200. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, neuter, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.
In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $45 fee to cover the 6 months of heartworm prevention we will send home with each adoptee.

More about this shelter
Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
