Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
What an absolute privilege it has been fostering Lola this past week! She is AMAZING!! Despite everything she has going on from a medical standpoint - 3 legs, dental issues, partially deaf, lumps and bumps internally and externally, including one very large one that hangs heavy from her neck - this girl is full of love and happiness. She is the absolute sweetest, and such an inspiration! Lola is so lovable, curious and excited for life. She's obviously still decompressing from all of the change she's been through, but everyday she's been with us she is becoming more and more comfortable. Lola is pretty much game for anything - she loves to snuggle, loves to go out for walks and sniffs, and exploring outside. Sometimes she can be a little unsure in the car but gains confidence and relaxes with each new adventure. We gave her a bath and I think she thought she was at the spa! She really loves to be brushed and petted. Lola has a healthy appetite, and seems to love the food we make for her. She is a deep sleeper, but when she opens her eyes and sees you there her gratitude will melt your heart. She has met both of our dogs and gone on short pack walks with them and was absolutely perfect. I think Lola would be fine in a forever home with other chill, balanced pups. My guess is she would probably be fine with cats as well. I do think a home with a lot of steps would be difficult for her. We have started wrapping her neck tumor with an ace bandage when we take her out for walks and this seems to be more comfortable for her. She seems to love everyone and really enjoys the company of having people around her. Obviously we love and adore her but our biggest wish is that she finds a perfect family to call her own.
