My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CURRENTLY IN OUR PAWS-in-PRISON PROGRAM!! He is learning all of his basic obedience and some advanced! We plan to have Clay available for his new home right around Christmas! You may apply now but he will not be ready until mid- end of December. We review applications near their graduation.

Hello there! I'm Clay, your lovable puppy with a dash of German Shepherd and a sprinkle of Australian Shepherd or Heeler charm-think of me as a delightful mix that's just waiting to steal your heart! Just check out my irresistible photos; I may look like a smaller German Shepherd with some unique flair, but my personality is BIG and truly one of a kind!

While I may not be the biggest pup on the block, my size means I can fit perfectly on your lap (for now)-especially when I'm in my snuggly mood! I'm currently in my playful "zoomie phase, which involves racing around like a little tornado and proudly carrying my favorite toys wherever I go. My sister (Clara) and I are the ultimate playtime partners, and our motto is "play hard, nap harder!"

But let me tell you, I'm not just a bundle of energy-I'm also a super sweet snuggle machine! I absolutely love human companionship and can't get enough of those warm hugs and cuddles. If you're looking for a furry friend who will shower you with love and affection, then look no further!

Before you jump into the application process, it's good to know that I'm a mix of two active breeds. We thrive on exercise and mental stimulation, and without that, I might start showing off some quirky behaviors-like trying to convince you to wear the harness ;;) ! So, if you're ready to embrace my playful spirit and share plenty of snuggles, I think we'll make the perfect pair!

Before completing an application, please take into consideration breed characteristics, puppy shenanigans and the size at full grown.

-I am full of razor sharp puppy teeth and LOVE to chew.
-I am not house trained or crate trained. (working on it)
-I need exercise, play time, mental enrichment time NOT confined to tons of crate time!
-I need quality time spent with them to learn their proper manners, obedience training, house training and LOTS of time to properly socialize them.
-I have had a rough start to life and need the best home possible for me to learn about love and loyalty.
-We only place our dogs and puppies into home that meet "their needs.
