My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumba and his sister Bella are very sweet dogs. Both are a little shy at first but then warm up and welcome all love and attention.

Join us this Saturday, October 19 from 11 to 3 at Grossmont Center. Come meet the pups.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Pets are posted on social media, spread word of mouth or adoption events. We take a dog to meet a family or encourage visiting events.

2.

Submit Application

Application, Meet Pet, Interview are usually at same time. Contract is pretty detailed as to not miss any possible scenario.

3.

Take the Pet Home

Once Application is reviewed and approved, adoption fee is collected and pet joins its forever family.

Additional adoption info

We require an Agreement as well as an Application to be submitted. This provides us time to visit the home at our convenience, review pictures of the pet settling in and the right to have pet returned to the Rescue should it not be a suitable fitz

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

More about this rescue

Red Barn Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming, abused, neglected, and unwanted animals in San Diego, CA and Baja, Mexico. We also focus on educating the public about the importance of spaying & neutering pets as well as the benefits of adopting a rescue - not only for the lucky animal, but for the adoptive family as well as the community. We partner with approved fosters in our area to provide a loving and caring safe haven until a forever home can be found.
