We took Millie in and agreed to foster her and her sister Lillie while the family that had them looked for a home.  It has now been a year and needing to find their forever home and a loving family that will love them as much as we have.

Millie is a cuddler. She favors more of the Belgium Malinois in her. She is high energy but when its time to lay down or nap, she wants to be right beside you touching you. She has so much love to give. She loves rub downs, treats and attention. She loves to play with the broom or mop while you are using it.

Someone please take her home and love her!!!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All pets are up-to-date on routine vaccinations and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All dogs are tested heartworm negative and all cats are tested feline aids/feline leukemia negative. We require a pre-adoption application and a home visit. To help cover our veterinary costs, we ask for a $125 adoption donation for dogs and puppies and a $75 adoption donation for cats and kittens.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets, giving them a second chance at a loving forever home. All animals taken in receive necessary medical care, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

We are not a shelter with a facility where you can visit our pets. All rescued pets live in our own homes, where they are evaluated and cared for until they find their ideal adoptive family. We carefully screen prospective homes and require all applicants to go through an adoption application process.

We are not affiliated with the Desoto County Animal Shelter or any governmental agency. We do not receive any taxpayer funds. We operate solely on donations and the revenue we generate from fundraising events. 100% of our incoming funds go directly towards the care of our animals and to pay our vet bills. All other expenses are paid for by our own volunteers.
