Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A22801 Dale is a black with white colored, approximately 3-year-old, 60-pound, neutered male, Pitbull mix.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender, along with his brother Boomhauer, on 10-12-2024 due to the fact they were moving and couldn't bring their dogs.
Dale is a friendly, very eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is high energy and excited to get out of his kennel. He will rush the door, so you must be prepared. He will need a strong handler. He is highly reactive to other dogs and immediately pulls to their kennel when walking by. He is tense and has his tail raised, it doesn't matter if they are big or small or even barking at him. A meet and greet is required if you have other dogs in the home. He was easy to leash, because he was excited to get out of the kennel and he is a strong puller to get moving and check everything out. He has had some training and will "sit and "down upon command. He just gets excited and doesn't stay put for long. Dale will be a fun loving, playful family member in his new forever home.
