My name is Boomhauer!

A22802 Boomhauer is a brindle, black and brown colored, approximately 3-year-old, 58-pound, neutered male, Pitbull mix.
He entered the shelter as an owner surrender, along with his brother Dale, on 10-12-2024 due to the fact they were moving and couldn't bring their dogs.
Boomhauer is a friendly, very eager and excited boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is super eager and excited to get out of his kennel. He will rush the door, so you must be prepared. He doesn't show any interest in other dogs but is aware of them and does have a stiff tail as we walk by other kennels. A meet and greet is suggested if you have other dogs in the home. He was easy to leash, because he was excited to get out of the kennel and he is a strong puller to get moving and check everything out. He has had some training and will "sit and "down upon command. He just gets excited and doesn't stay put for long. Boomhauer will be a fun loving, playful family member in his new forever home.
