My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a 4 month old rare orange and white girl with gorgeous amber eyes! She needed a lot of TLC when she was rescued from the feral colony, and she has blossomed and thrived! Dixie can be shy at first and will need a home with calm energy and no small children. She loves other kitty friends and would be fine with a cat friendly dog. She a confident girl who loves tummy rubs and has the best purr!
Dixie is spayed, microchipped, FeLV and FIV tested negative, fully
Vaccinated, Dewormed and flea treated.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
