My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This youngster will be a large boy. He has the best personality… he is fun and loves attention. He was a stray for a several months until a good Samaritan brought him in from getting attacked by coyotes.

When he was an intact male before being neutered at PFOA, Bowie didn’t get along with other cats. He was very territorial with other strays, and would chase them away. We are not sure how he would do with other cats, children or dogs at this time.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Prospective adopters meet with our Shelter Manager to determine an appropriate match for our animals. The adopters sign an adoption contract that identifies the condition of the animal, approximate age, any health issues, and conditions of adoption (e.g. indoor only, no declawing, etc). Adoption fee is $150.00 for kittens, and $85.00 for young, adult and senior kitties.

PFOA prefers to adopt to homes on the North Olympic Peninsula, but we do make (lots of) exceptions. Please call (360) 452-0414 to learn more about this kitty. A staff member will return your call.

All PFOA animals are vet-checked, current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and combo tested for FIV / FeLV.
