My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Cedar, and I was taken into the rescue several months ago when we were contacted by a kind person who saw my plight. I had been purchased by a family member as a gift for a child without the family's consent. After several days it was quite apparent that I was not wanted by the family and was put in a cardboard box in the backyard. Of course, I immediately jumped out of the box and was running around the yard and the neighbor's yard.

The neighbor new nothing of buns but also knew I was in danger. She knocked on the door of the owner's home to let them know I was in danger as she thought maybe I had gotten loose but she was told they did not care and had the door slammed in her face. She wanted to keep me herself, but she had several dogs that through no fault of their own wanted to eat me.

Now that I am old enough, I have been neutered and vaccinated against RHDV. I have wonderful litterbox habits, and I am a very social and friendly bun. I love to run and play and binky everywhere I go. For those not knowledgeable of buns, binkies are when a rabbit is very happy and jumps and leaps in the air.

I would probably be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of water. Please do not forget my daily salads and treats in moderation of course.
