Meet Ryder! This charming boy was discovered wandering along River Road in beautiful Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He’s on a heartwarming quest to find his forever home.

Ryder is the epitome of sweetness! He’s gentle and friendly, showing a loving nature that makes him great around kids and other dogs. You’ll find he rarely barks, preferring to communicate with soft cuddles and warm snuggles that melt your heart.

A true cuddle bug, Ryder absolutely adores his chew toys and is always up for a little playtime. If you’re searching for a loyal companion to fill your life with joy and love, Ryder is the perfect addition to any family.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
