SAM is a sweet,very handsome young male kitty. He is a little shy at first. Will warm up to his person. He is good with dogs & cats !! He checks all the boxes for an awsome kitty given the chance. He's just waiting to meet his Fur-Ever family. Maybe that will be you ? Come into meet him and lets find out. Will it be you who makes Sam's day ? We believe he would do great in any household with the proper slow introduction.

PUBLIC HOURS: WE ARE NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON FRIDAYS & SUNDAYS ONLY from 1PM - 3:30 PM with no appointment necessary! Please be aware that you a cannot play with, put on hold, or adopt a cat or kitten without an approved application on file! It is always better to get pre-approved!

ADOPTION HOURS: Adoptions are still being done BY APPOINTMENT Wednesday through Sunday 1pm - 4pm, for pre-approved adopters only.

Whiskers Pet Rescue is a no-kill cat rescue organization in Southbury, Connecticut. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity of volunteers committed to helping and caring for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, injured, abused, or neglected. We're a hard-working group of people with a huge passion for helping our whiskered friends. We rescue and adopt out hundreds of cats and kittens each year, placing them in loving forever homes.

We are constantly rescuing new cats/kittens in need and we won’t rest until each and every one of them has found their forever family.
