Hi, my name is Kona! I am a 4 year old Plott Hound/Pit Mix!

I have been with my foster family for 8 months now and I'm ready for my furever home! My story has a sad start, I was passed around the homeless community before eventually being abandoned.

I stayed in the shelter for 6 months until my foster family brought me home to get me back on track! I have never had an accident or chewed anything up. I was able to de-stress and learn how to be a dog again. Thanks to training from One Love Pitbull Foundation I was able to learn and practice manners. Ive had lots of improvement on my resource guarding but I do sometimes get a little defensive over my food. Im still learning and practicing though!

I enjoy being an active pup but also just lounging around. I enjoy cuddles but also my own space. I would recommend that I'm an only dog, but I have shown extensive growth with my foster families dog. Due to the resource guarding I would recommend older children!
