Albert and Fidget Toy are the ultimate dynamic duo. With this adorable pair, you get the benefits of an outgoing people pleaser (Albert) and an introverted earn-my-love baby (Fidge Fidge) who will spend their days cuddling with each other and, ultimately, you. Both kiddos are vocal and will let you know when they're looking for you or their friends with meows and chirps throughout the day. They especially love food puzzles!
Albert is naturally an extrovert, so expect him to come out and greet all your guests with purrs, leg rubs, and affection. He spends his days making biscuits, running around causing a ruckus, and alternating between cuddling with you and his brother. He is quick to love and his favorite past times include chasing toys around the apartment and wrastling with his kitty friends. Expect to wake up to Albert making biscuits on you to let you know it's breakfast time, and be aware that sometimes Albert's love grows soooo big that he expresses his affection with little love bites. The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
