Jasper is a 3 year old, German Shepherd to came to us from one of our shelter partners. He got very sick when he was there and was suffering from starvation. They didn't have the budget to treat him so he came to us to get the care he needed to survive. Jasper is now a happy, healthy boy who is ready to find his furEVER home.

Augusta Dog Adoptions is a foster based rescue without a shelter for you to visit. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. All of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes. After you application is approved, we will contact you to see up a time to adopt! Most adoptions are set up on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA.
