My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, my name is Ceyenne! I’m a beautiful 10-week-old gray tabby, and I’ve been surrounded by nothing but love and snuggles from my wonderful foster family. If you’re in search of a feline friend, I might just be the perfect companion for you! When we first meet, I may be a little shy and skittish, but I really just need some extra love and patience to help me come out of my shell. I know that with the right person by my side, I’ll blossom into the amazing and affectionate kitty I know I can be. If you’re looking for a bundle of love and gentle purrs, please consider adopting me. I promise to bring joy and comfort into your life for many years to come! Oh, and while it’s not a requirement, my sister, Paprika, and I would love the chance to stay together. We’ve shared so many wonderful moments, and having each other would make our transition to a new home even sweeter. Plus, they say, “two cats are just as easy as one,” and I can assure you, it's absolutely true! Thank you for considering giving us a chance at a happy, loving forever home—together or apart! More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
