My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Charley, a sweet grey tabby kitten with a cautious yet friendly personality. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I do, I'm all about the snuggles and scratches! A gentle head or back scratch is my favorite way to be pampered—I can't help but purr when I'm held or touched. I love to play with toys and romp around with my fellow kitten friends. My curiosity knows no bounds, and I'm always ready for the next adventure! While I might be a bit hesitant around dogs, I can’t resist sitting back and observing them.  If you're looking for a loving companion who brings a little bit of adventure and a lot of heart, I’m your girl! I can't wait to find my forever home where I can explore and be loved. For more information about me, please email info@frastx.org

More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
