Meet Mojo, the 1-year-old boxer with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging! This happy, wiggly boy is always ready for fun and would love to have a furry sibling to romp around with. Mojo is social and playful with other dogs but may be a little too enthusiastic for kitties or smaller pups.
He came to us with a broken rear leg that has since been repaired, though he’s got his own unique stride. Don’t worry—our vet says it should keep improving with time! While Mojo may be a bit shy initially, he quickly warms up to people and will soon be your best friend. He’s neutered, heartworm-negative, microchipped, crate trained, and is just waiting for the right family to love him as much as he and hasn’t met a dog he didn’t like. will love them.
If you're looking for a sweet, playful companion who’ll bring endless smiles, Mojo might be your perfect match! If you are interested in fostering a pet , please visit our website www.shelter2rescue.org to fill out an application

We do our best to match up potential adopters with just the right pet as we want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with home visit, reference and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then have an adoption contract that is executed. We have a commitment not only to our adopted dogs, but also to the families that adopt them, and we are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues - or to just give you someone to brag to about your new baby. We can't hear that too much!

More about this rescue
Shelter2Rescue Coalition is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe-rehoming of shelter animals. We started as a rescue facilitation organization, helping rural shelters publicize their at-risk dogs, thereby dramatically reducing the need to euthanize for space. Then, as we worked with more shelters, it became very apparent that if we could just buy the dogs up for euthanasia just a little more time, you could save even more lives. The 72-hour hold limit at most shelters just wasn't enough for most dogs to get out. Therefore, we expanded and built partnerships with boarding facilities, transport organizations and other nationwide rescues in order to be able to provide a temporary safe haven for dogs out of time. We have now expanded Shelter2Rescue Coalition to include our own adoption program. Since June 2007, through facilitation and adoption, Shelter2Rescue Coalition volunteers have saved over 2000 dogs and cats.
