Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Citrine, the young, loving momma who’s proven she’s a gem in every sense of the word. At just 8 months old, this resilient girl has already raised four beautiful kittens, showing her strength, tenderness, and devotion every step of the way. Now, it’s her turn to be pampered and adored as the baby of the household she deserves to be!
Citrine is a chatty, affectionate sweetheart who loves to be part of the action. Whether she’s supervising her kittens from atop a cat tree or following you around to offer her opinions on your day, she’s always got something to say and loves being involved. Her expressive eyes will capture your heart, and her playful spirit will keep you entertained.
Her favorite treat? Churu! This delicious snack is the key to Citrine’s heart and the perfect way to bond with this lovely lady. Citrine’s dream is to find a forever home where she can continue her role as a loving companion, ideally with one (or more!) of her babies by her side. After all, she’s put in the hard work—it’s time for her to bask in the love and affection of her new family.
If you’re looking for a sweet, vocal, and utterly charming feline friend who will shower you with love and endless conversation, Citrine is your girl. She’s ready to leave her past behind and start a bright, happy future with a family who will cherish her as much as she deserves.

The Pre-adoption process allows us to get the adoption process started early, even though vetting isn’t complete. Per the Department of Agriculture rules and regulations, The Kitten Rescue Project is responsible for vetting all of its kittens before adoption is final. At this time the kitten is not fully vetted because he/she is too young. We expect vetting will be completed around October 7th, but could be delayed a couple weeks longer if he/she does not meet the weight requirement by our vet.
Once vetted, our kittens are dewormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
Our feline adoption fee is $120, which assists in offsetting but does not entirely cover the expenses incurred for the animal's care and completion of essential veterinary care.
We do not place cats in homes based on the order of application received. Instead, we prioritize the earliest applications that are the best match for the kitten. We will prioritize applicants within a 2 hour drive of Atlanta, GA to help minimize the kitten's stress during transport.
Our adoption process does not happen in a single day. Typically, it can take at least a week for applications to move from submission to adoption.
We reserve the right to deny any applicant for any reason.
