Catalina or "Lina" for short is an extremely loving and playful American Short Hair. Born in early February, 2024, Lina is so beautiful with her long legs, mostly white body and all black tail. Watching her prance around and run back and forth from you to her bowl when it's time for a meal is the cutest thing to see. She is extremely loving and playful and you will find her snuggled up with you in bed in the middle of the night. She is the perfect companion for another younger kitty or kitties and would do great with kids who want a playful, loyal friend. She loves rough housing with her 6 year old foster sister, chasing lasers and her other toys. Her favorite thing to do is to eat Churu's Cat Treats. She will run and jump on anyone's lap who has one and says, "Time for a lollipop?" When you see her face scrunch up and little tongue licking up every little bit, it will surely melt your heart as it has ours.
Catalina is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting this pet, you can start the process and access our pre-adoption application which is located on our website at www.startpets.net, click on Pets for Adoption then application; complete the form, and submit/send. More about this rescue
Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
