Lenora is our sweet little lovebug with a heart of gold! This timid girl came to us as a spicy stray, full of sass and a bit of attitude. After lots of patience and gentle care, Lenora has blossomed into a cuddly companion, though she still has some trust-building to do.

Lenora has the softest fur and loves to roll over for belly rubs—once you earn her trust! While she may dash away when you reach out, don’t be fooled; once she feels safe, her purring will fill the room. She's litterbox trained and enjoys playing with her feline friends, making her a perfect addition to a multi-cat home.

Lenora is looking for a loving family that understands her journey and will continue to help her build confidence. With a little time and patience, she’ll be the affectionate companion you’ve always wanted!

All of our adoptable dogs and cats will be be spayed or neutered before they can be adopted out.
Dogs: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents). Cats: adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first set of shots, microchip and county license (for davis county residents if applicable within your city).

Go meet their pets

We are open M-F 10AM-6PM and are located at 1422 E 600 N in Fruit Heights, UT. Please call for directions (801)-444-2200.
We encourage the whole family including any furry ones to come along when looking at one of our adoptable animals. Often on Saturdays we hold an adoption event at a local Petsmart or Petco. Please call on Friday to get the location and/or time for the weekend adoption event.

We are a government agency dedicated to providing animal services to the communities of Davis County.

Our Goal
"To provide service to the people and the animals of Davis County, through the professional operation of the Davis County Animal Shelter and animal care and control programs. Services shall be rendered in an efficient, effective, and conscientious manner. These services shall include, but are not limited to; sheltering of unwanted, stray and abandoned pets, euthanasia of animals, adoption, redemption, lost and found services, providing of resource information, and public education as well as the taking and processing of all requests for service. These and other similar services shall be provided in a friendly, compassionate, and pro-active manner at all times."
