My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jinx Waller, the Happy, Resilient Lovebug!

Jinx Waller is a 1.5-year-old Pit/Staffy mix with a huge heart and even bigger personality! With his striking white coat dotted with adorable brown spots, this handsome guy is just as sweet and soulful as he looks. Life threw a few challenges his way, but Jinx has proven that nothing can hold him back. Now happy, healthy, and ready for his forever home, Jinx’s enthusiasm for life is simply contagious.

Jinx has a big, playful spirit and gets along with just about everyone. Dog, cat, or even chicken—he’s made friends with them all! He’s a natural with other dogs and would probably love a doggy sibling to play chase and share in his muddy puddle adventures. Jinx's foster mom says he loves water so much that she can't get him to come inside when it's raining! He loves to run and splash around in the pool and puddles. And he’s got a soft spot for kids too, making him a fantastic companion for a loving family. Jinx also enjoys a good nap and quiet time, especially after a day of fun, and he can keep himself entertained like a pro.

This smart, observant guy is crate-trained, calm on car rides, and great on leash—making him an easygoing partner for just about any activity. His foster family can’t say enough good things about him. While he may be a bit reserved at first, give him a moment to warm up, and he’ll be your cuddle buddy in no time, with a gentle nature and charm that win hearts everywhere he goes.

Recently, Jinx visited the rescue and made tons of new friends, both human and furry, as he splashed in the water, chased after toys, and soaked up every moment of attention. He greeted everyone with a wagging tail and those soulful eyes that let you know just how much love he has to give. He takes in his surroundings thoughtfully, but once he feels at home, he’s as goofy and affectionate as they come.

Jinx is adaptable and would be the perfect fit for any family ready to share their love with a sweet, gentle pup who’ll return it tenfold. If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, and easygoing companion, Jinx might just be your perfect match! 🐾

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.

Our rescue has a 2-acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs, and we enjoy seeing their progress!

Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.

The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.

It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family
Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non- profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!

Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
