My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Mabel was born outside on the Wapato Reservation. Her 'owner' was not interested in feeding or keeping her or her littermates, and was threatening to let them starve. A rescue contact reached out for help as Mama and babies were left outside, exposed to the elements. We could not leave them to suffer, so they are all hitching a ride to the west side on Friday, 10/11.

Foster Update: This tiny puppy has a big personality and love to give. Smart, playful, confident, and affectionate, Mabel loves dogs of all sizes, cats, and people. She's a busy, active pup who loves cavorting with her dog foster siblings and playing with toys, but is also a master cuddler who enjoys being held and will curl up and fall fast asleep in your arms or on your lap. This smart girl is a quick learner, already knows her name and "sit," and is doing great with crate and potty training. We expect Mabel to have a classic Doberman personality as an adult, which means she will be focused and motivated to learn, will thrive with training, and will be a loving and loyal companion (she'll outgrow your lap but will probably always remain a cuddler who wants to be held). Her ideal home includes a large, fenced yard where she can run, another dog to play with, and humans who can meet her needs for activity and affection.

Adoption Info: Damian's adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: Taylor and her 9 puppies are being surrendered to Dog Gone Seattle from their owner in Eastern Wa. They arrive to foster care 10/11/24 and will be available for adoption once we confirm they are healthy and well.
