My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Princess, a regal lady who is sweet and friendly despite having been through a lot in her young life. She was knowingly abandoned by her human as she was days away from giving birth. Luckily one of our kind BCHR fosters found her just before July 4th, one of the noisiest and most terrifying times for animals. She was brought to safety with another of our fosters and was being well-cared for when she gave birth to her kittens on July 5th!

Princess is extremely friendly and sweet. She loves to be pet and is very inquisitive. She loves company and loves pets from new friends. Her foster home has had other cats, dogs and children, and she gets along with all of them. She has been a wonderful mom to her babies, always making sure they have been taken care of before she eats and attends to herself. Now it is time to find Princess a furever home where she will be pampered and cared for like she deserves to be!

Additional adoption info

Black cats are half as likely as other cats to be adopted from shelters.

Black cats are considered bad luck because of ignorance and superstition.

Black cats are often passed over because they don't photograph well, but they are beautiful in person

Having black fur is a death sentence for most black cats

Black cats are just as lovable and deserving of homes and families as all other cats
