Sammi is a sweet and playful polydactyl cat who loves spending time with her sister, Zelda, and her favorite toys, especially her furry mouse and ball. She enjoys starting her day with a good meal and then jumping right into playtime. Sammi gets along well with other cats and has a gentle, well-rounded personality. Though she had a tough start in life alongside her sister, she has adjusted beautifully and is now a happy, confident, and content cat, full of energy and love.

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

Additional adoption info

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
