My name is Katy!

Katy has been through a lot in her life and needs someone to give her the forever home that we cannot. She came to us when her person sold us his house and was unable to take her to his new home. We agreed to take her in and try to integrate her info our family.

She adapted well to us but made is very clear that siblings just aren't her thing. Despite doing well with introductions through a gate, sharing treats, etc, her first face to face meeting with the rest of the family made it clear that she needs to be an only child. As much as we want to find a way to keep her... somehow, she deserves better than to be cooped up in our guest room, desperate for love and attention.

Aside from hating other pets, Katy is an absolute doll. She's litter trained, very snuggly and enjoys being with her people. Making biscuits and conversations are her forte! She's also a world-class cuddler and she'd be thrilled to nap the afternoon away with her favorite person.
