ELLIE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!
Come meet Ellie and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Nov. 3rd) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!
Name: Ellie Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and cattle dog mix
Best Guess for Age: 6 months as of October 2024 SEX: Female
Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 10 lbs as of 10/12/24; she is actually underweight at this weight, but she'll gain quickly now that she's getting good care!
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but we can test if you have them.
Special Considerations: Because Ellie is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog. We would be cautious placing Ellie in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise. Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash. We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.
Currently Living at: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to come up here!
Ellie is Looking For: Woof! My siblings Riley and Gizmo and I have loved growing up together but now we're ready to put on our big-puppy pants and go our separate ways to get our own forever families! We've talked it over and this is on our wish lists:

- Snuggles!
- More play time!
- World exploration!
- Making new pup pals!
- Dog school, so I can show how super smart I am!
