My name is Spirit!

I was unable to upload photos from my cellphone, but Spirit is a handsome dog. She is a little over 4 years old, and we acquired her from Pasadena Humane. She is very good with strangers and children, and has no bite history. Unfortunately when we got her we did not know that she was reactive to other dogs (and squirrels). I am 80 and my wife is 77, and we are reluctant to walk her since we cannot risk falling if she pulls in reaction to another dog encountered on a walk. We think she is just a "friendly greeter" with other dogs since she has no history of biting them. We also think she is just bored since we cannot offer her exercise. For this reason we are suggesting a younger person or family (probably with no other pets in the home) with energy to walk her, and preferably with some experience in dealing with a reactive dog. With these criteria met, Spirit would make an excellent and loving companion.
