My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HONEY BUN, F/S, DSH, ORANGE TABBY
BORN OCTOBER 4 2013

Honey Bun is an11 year old kitty. Lost her home when her Pet parent passed away. She is shy when she first meets you and will probably hide for a while, but with patience and treats, she will become affectionate and start requesting your attention. she is very laid back and enjoys taking naps in your presence and sitting near you while you hang out . she loves to be brushed and pet almost as much as she loves food. She is on a weight loss plan and will require you to continue with it. She`s a courageous girl and has gone from 26 lbs to 20 lbs. She also loves to go out on a harness and explore the backyard.

More about this rescue

Our main purpose is to save the lives of cats in danger of death, starvation and disease and to educate the public about cats in their homes and neighbourhoods. Some of our rescues are hand-picked from overcrowded local shelters. Others have been rescued from known “dump” sites. Still others may be trapped from lives outside by kind volunteers or families or may be surrendered by families who can no longer care for them for various reasons.
