My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I’m JJ, a 3-year-old retriever girl with a soft, cotton-like coat, weighing 45 pounds of pure sweetness. I may have gotten lost along the way, but I’m holding onto hope that my forever family is out there, ready to take me home.

I came to the shelter on 10/08/2024, and though it’s been a little scary, I’m staying positive! I might be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I love to give the best hugs! I also know how to sit politely for my treats—I'm a quick learner and always eager to please. My coat is clean and fluffy, so it seems like I was well cared for before finding myself here. Maybe I had a family, but now I’m looking for a new one to love me.

I’ve had all my shots, and I’ll be spayed when you adopt me, so I’m ready to head home! Come meet me at cage #79, ID 5718. I know we’ll be the perfect match!
