*** Mama Waters is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***
Solid gray, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 9/26/23, #19294
Cats: good solo, ignores others Dogs: good Children: yes
BACKGROUND: Mama Waters and her six kittens were found under some bleachers at a pickleball club by a member who brought them home and reached out to The Rescue House for help on their behalf. They were all named after pickleball champions! The kittens have all found their homes and now it's time for mama to score the ultimate prize: a forever home!
PERSONALITY: This young mother did a great job raising her babies, but she's happy to put that part of her life behind her and get to enjoy her favorite luxuries in life, and that means plenty of pets and belly rubs, please! Calm and gentle, Mama Waters is quite social and enjoys spending time with people. While she adores getting pets, she likes to largely keep her paws under her own control. Her independent nature means that she's not clingy or pestery yet is very appreciative of attention when she gets it. Mama Waters is a quiet and composed low-maintenance kitty who makes a super sweet companion. In the words of her foster mom, "She's rad!"
COMPATIBILITY: Mama Waters was comfortable mutually ignoring the other adult cat in her foster home; they didn't interact much but didn't have any issues. She'd make a great solo kitty. She and the resident dog got along fine though they weren't bosom buddies. She would likely be fine with respectful children.
Will our champion be your winner for life?
