My personality

Why I need a new home

Found or abandoned

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Found as a stray, Chilli was bred and we suspect abused before she was abandoned. We found her in a neighbor's yard post-partum, separated from her puppies and in need of medical attention. She is approximately 3 years old and is now happy, healthy, and ready for her forever home thanks to the support of Stand Up for Pits, Ace of Hearts, and Free Animal Doctor.

Chilli will need a patient home as she takes a minute to warm up but once she does, she'll love you forever and be the floppiest, happiest of girls. You should also know that she is crate-trained, and is working really hard on leash walking. She is highly food-motivated, silly, curious, and communicative. She loves to wrestle with other dogs and has been good with kids although her exposure has been limited.

Chilli is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and underwent a balloon valvoplasty to repair her pulmonic stenosis this summer. She has had a perfect recovery and will live a long and healthy life with her forever family.
