STARSKY AND HUTCH ARE BEING ADOPTED TOGETHER AS A BONDED PAIR ($75 FOR BOTH OF THEM)
I am both saddened and excited to introduce Fonzie (gray/white) and Richie (black/white), a bonded pair of young boys looking for a home where they will live out there days. Fonzie and Richie came to the shelter when they were five weeks old and put in the same foster home where they were adopted by close family members. The boys have grown into occasionally wild and sometimes brainless playmates who have no awareness of their craziness. Fonzie and Richie are each other`s best friend, as only littermates can be. Due to their unforeseen losses this year, these brothers have returned to the shelter to be adopted once again. Our hope is to place Fonzie and Richie in a home where they get all the love they deserve, watch all the birds, and grow old together. When meeting new people they can be a bit skeptical as their hearts have been through so much for being so young, but they come around when given affection and patience.
These handsome boys are sure to win your heart as they have ours. They bear no malice towards other cats, but dogs are completely unfamiliar to them. They would do best in a quieter home so Fonzie can be monitored by the door as he likes to try and escape! Fonzie (Fon, Fon Fon, Fonnie) has an affinity to follow you wherever you go and give small meows to let you know he`s there. Fonzie will find hiding places you didn`t know you had. Richie (Rich, Richers) enjoys lounging across a lap or curled in a small nook. Once he is adjusted and comfortable, snuggling will be his go-to. If you are looking for a pair of felines to liven up your home, you cannot go wrong with these brothers. They are eager to showered with affection that will warm their hearts once more.
Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822.
