Hi there, I’m Sandals! I’m around a year old and weigh 85 lbs. I’m a big, lovable boy with a heart of gold. They say I’m “food motivated,” which just means I love treats! I’m a pro at catching them in my mouth.

I’m pretty social and get along great with other dogs. I’ve met a few at the shelter and on group walks. I’m always excited to meet new people too. You can never have enough friends.

My foster mom says I’m a fast learner. I have learned a few tricks such as sit pretty, spin, play bow, touch, catch treats, and even lay on my side. I love playing with toys and chewing on bones. Just a heads up, I chew pretty hard, but I’ll drop it if you ask. I’m also crate trained and do pretty well in there if you have somewhere to be. It’s my quiet little space for me to rest and reset.

I’m a lot of dog for some people, so I’d really love a strong handler who can keep up with me. A home in which everyone is over 13 years old is what I’m looking for. Overall, I’m a great guy and would make a wonderful companion for the right person. If you think you might be a good match, please come meet me. You won’t be disappointed!
