My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Midnight. I am about 9 months and 55 lbs. I am going to be a medium to large boy (depending on how you look at it) and could fill out to about 65 lbs.. I have had 5 siblings get great homes through ASCZ and now it is my turn. My whole family has been such a pleasure for ASCZ to help. I am so much like my siblings - I am docile, smart, gentle and medium energy. I aim to please and I am affectionate! I'm friendly with people but might be a little hesitant at first. After all, I just started my socialization journey. I need some time to get the hang of it all. I can walk on a leash! I am curious and attentive and I am also great with dogs of any size and gender. I am crate-trained but I could need a bit of a housebreaking transition. If I am anything like my siblings it will be a very quick transition! I have not been introduced to real young kids so kids 8+ is a good start. A fenced in yard would be awesome. Interview

ASCZ will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
