My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey is a 10-month-old, 55-pound, Labrador mix of something who is fully vaccinated, neutered and chipped and ready to go!

Smokey is a great dog who loves to play with other dogs and be near his people.  Smoke seems to be house trained but working on the create and not jumping on you – but only to show his love!

Smokey would be a great friend to take to dog bars, dog parks, running or hiking partner once he is grown and trained. Smokey has not been tested with cats and based on temperament should be good with kids but remember he young and has energy!

If you are interested in adopting Smokey, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
