My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chupie is an 11-year-old female Pomeranian, currently weighing just 5 pounds, though she should ideally weigh closer to 8 pounds. She came into our rescue after being found abandoned with 11 other dogs, left in terrible condition after their owner passed away. When she arrived, Chupie was severely underweight, battling fleas, and suffering from lethargy and anemia. Thanks to thorough veterinary care, including spaying, a dental cleaning, vaccines, and other treatments, she is now on the road to recovery.

Chupie is a very low-energy senior who spends most of her time sleeping and relaxing. With no teeth left, she eats wet food only, and due to her blindness, she navigates her surroundings by getting used to the space over time. She is extremely low maintenance, never barks, and is always quiet. Chupie just wants to snuggle and receive love, making her the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back, affectionate senior dog. Currently, she is hairless due to the flea infestation, but her coat will grow back with time and care.

Chupie is currently with a foster in Houston, TX, and her adoption fee is $200.
