Kai is a 5-month-old male Pomeranian, currently weighing just 3 pounds, though he is expected to grow to around 8 pounds when fully grown. He came into our rescue after being found in poor condition, along with 11 other dogs, after their owner passed away. Kai has received thorough veterinary care, including heartworm prevention, flea treatment, and vaccines. However, he has not yet been neutered, as the vet wants to let him grow a little more due to his initial underweight condition.

Kai is a loving, playful, and quirky little pup with a big personality. He is social and sweet, always ready to bring some fun and joy to your home. He gets along great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and he does well in a kennel and in the car. Kai's easygoing and funny nature makes him a great fit for any family looking for a young, affectionate companion.

Kai is currently with a foster in Houston, TX, and his adoption fee is $600.

Pom Squad Rescue is dedicated to the elimination of the euthanasia of healthy, treatable, and surrendered Pomeranians and other small dogs from shelters, owners, and veterinarian clinics. The rescue will ensure that appropriate veterinarian care including spay, neuter, microchip and general health screening is completed on all rescued dogs. Pom Squad Rescue is an all volunteer based rescue that relies on foster homes to house rescued pets while waiting for their adopted home. The rescue will maintain the care of all rescued dogs in the foster homes while evaluating the applications of potential adopters. Volunteers for the Pom Squad Rescue will conduct fund raising activities in order to support the care for the rescued animals.
