My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"The Schnoodle is very loyal to his family, affectionate, extremely intelligent, easily trained, clever, friendly, fun loving, with plenty of personality! They are good with children and get along fine with other animals. They are great watchdogs because they will let you know when someone is near, but they are non-aggressive. They not yappy dogs unless you allow them to take over your home. They love car rides. This great companion dog excels in obedience, agility, Flyball and makes an excellent therapy dogs, but they are first and foremost a loyal and loving companion! They would be fine in an apartment or on a farm, as long as they are with their family. These dogs are so loyal and affectionate they would not be happy kept outdoors. As far as exercise, the Schnoodle is very adaptable. A game of fetch played in the house or a 5-mile jog, either one is fine with them. Because the Poodle and the Schnauzer both do not shed, the Schnoodle does not shed so they must be brushed weekly and clipped every 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the length of hair preferred. Their nails should be kept trimmed. The Schnoodle sheds little to no hair and is considered good for allergy sufferers."

Additional adoption info

Our first step is to review the application, reach out to you to discuss home environment, current pets, legal right to have pets in a rental, etc. and answer your questions. We seek the very best match for each dog and for you.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

After the application is reviewed and approved for a meet and greet, an agreed upon location such as a safe and friendly park will be determined by our adoption coordinator and applicant. Occasionally we will meet at your home. Meetings are often on Thursdays or Saturdays because our adoption coordinators work full time, also. This is outside their volunteerism commitments.

More about this rescue

We have over 20 years of combined experience fostering, working with other rescue groups, and finally creating our own. Animals fly, crawl, walk, swim, and run through and over 'boundaries.' So do we. Whether in Mexico or the United States we aim to find homes for animals. And with the proceeds, we provide spay and neuter for many low income families. We provide food, vetting, bathing, tick and flea treatment, and humane euthanasia when necessary.
